You can also return books that you borrowed from Östersund Library, Lit Library, Kastal Library or the Library Bus. We are also happy to help you order books from the same libraries if we don’t have them here. It does not cost anything to order books from these libraries.
Our library also has three computers with word processing and an Internet connection. You’ll need a library card or identification to reserve one. You can also make copies and print from the computers.
We also have the "Biblioteket" wireless network. Here, too, you’ll need your library card number and PIN code to log on.
At our library, you will be able to access the Östersund Library range of databases, which includes Nationalencyklopedin, Alex Författarlexikon, Landguiden and the Global Grant scholarship and grant database. PressReader enables you to read daily newspapers and periodicals from various countries.
