E-books
An e-book is a book you download and read right on your computer, tablet or mobile phone. Your library card gives you access to all of the library’s e-books, and you can borrow them for free.

The first time you download an e-book
Before you can borrow and read an e-book from the library, you’ll need three things:
- An Internet account at ostersundsbibliotek.se. This, in turn, requires that you have a library card with a PIN code. You can get a library card and a PIN code at the library.
- An Adobe ID. You need an Adobe ID give your e-book reader permission to open the library’s e-books.

How long can I borrow an e-book?
You can borrow no more than two e-books during a seven-day period.
You can borrow an e-book for 28 days. You do not need to return your e-book. At the end of the loan period, you will no longer be able to open the e-book file.
